The Cestone sofa was designed to be placed at the center of the living room and viewed from every angle. Made of a metal structure upholstered with woven cowhide strips, the back and sides command viewing. Two options are available, with the irregular woven strips in two different widths. The cowhide strips can be closely woven, forming a compact surface; or more loosely woven, allowing the underlying upholstery fabric to show through. The resulting ‘checkerboard’ pattern makes a strong visual statement in aesthetically pleasing contrast to the soft, perfectly-proportioned upholstered parts.

Challenge oneself with the quest to design a sofa that encourages dreaming: A challenge met with determination that led to the concept of the Soft Dream sofa, one whose name proclaims its features. Versatile, flexible, chameleon-like – this is the personality of the Soft Dream seating system. Lightweight, the sofa rises above the floor on elegant cast-metal grey or bronze painted feet, also available in satin, chrome, burnished, champagne or black chrome finish.

Resting on the cowhide-upholstered metal base are the soft, generously-filled goose-down seat and seat back cushions. The armrests come in high and low versions and double-depth – 94 cm for the Soft Dream version and 110 cm for the Soft Dream Large – making Soft Dream a versatile sofa that is comfortably at home in almost any setting.

Forty years after the launch of the Max sofa, Antonio Citterio returns to one of his best-loved and most emblematic Flexform designs. While leaving some of its distinctive traits untouched, he revisits it with a more contemporary eye and expands its possibilities of use.

The new model carries the name Supermax and, compared to the Max sofa of 1983, has more generous proportions.

The clearly Rationalist-inspired sleek tubular metal structure was lowered a bit to encourage a more relaxed posture, while the size of the characteristic kidney-bean shaped seat cushion was completely redesigned and enhanced with additional padding for greater comfort.

The unmistakable cushioned cylindrical backrest is even more eye-catching in the version with two-tone upholstery.

If the Max sofa is ideally intended for use in waiting rooms, executive offices and lounges, the Supermax, with its deep low seat, aspires to a more central and multi-functional living room role, in both residential and hospitality settings.

Debuted in 1984 and revisited in 1999, Victor is a sofa that completely expresses the sofa concept according to Flexform. With well-balanced proportions in the bases, seat and seat back cushions, the Victor sofa is the epitome of restrained elegance. The wood structure is padded with polyurethane foam covered in a laminated fabric. The seat back and armrest are at the same height and form the classic “Chesterfield-like nest,” a cozy refuge designed to accommodate the seat back cushions; available with goose-down padding and crushproof core insert or in polyurethane foam and Dacron. Victor is a sofa that retains the purity of its design in the two- or three-seat version and in the sectional version. Its extensive array of pieces allows for the creation of multiple compositions. In the Victor Large version, the sofa’s depth increases to 115 cm, allowing it to accommodate many cushions, which not only provide added comfort but also lend it a more contemporary decorative vibe.

Light and airy, the Wing sofa’s architectural construction is made up of geometric shapes that are nonetheless soft and free of sharp corners. The elegant cast-metal base is set back almost out of sight, giving the sofa the impression of floating on air. The soft goose-down-filled seat cushions with core insert in crushproof material rest on the cowhide-clad structure while the seat back is formed by a soft, low and deep rectangular cushion, attached to the structure by slender cast-aluminum supports. The armrest is also low and deep and rests directly on the cowhide structure. Sleek and sectional, the Wing sofa makes a sure style statement in both residential and hospitality projects.

Conspicuous use of black leather and its tubular metal structure clearly tie the concept for the A.B.C. armchair to the design language of the Modern Movement. Yet, the low seat, that allows the upholstered pieces to fit perfectly within the tubular metal structure, is utterly contemporary. The metal structure is available in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome or champagne finish. The A.B.C. armchair can be paired with its namesake ottoman-footstool and is equipped with a state-of-the-art mechanism for reclining the seat back. The completely removable upholstery can be crafted in all the fabrics and leathers from the exclusive Flexform collection. A version of the A.B.C. armchair with armrests upholstered in cowhide is also available.

The A.B.C.D. armchair is a re-edition of the iconic A.B.C. armchair, introduced in 1996. Some substantial changes were made to the new version, launched in 2014 – like the re-design of the base and elimination of the armrest – to give it a softer look. The metal structure of the armchair comes in satin, chrome, burnished, black chrome or champagne finish. The A.B.C.D. armchair can be paired with its namesake ottoman-footstool and is equipped with a state-of-the-art mechanism for reclining the seat back. An elegant accessory is also available – a convenient headrest with soft goose-down padding and metal counterweight. The A.B.C.D. armchair was awarded honorable mention by the international jury of the 24th ADI [Industrial Design Assn.] Compasso d’oro Award.

The Adda armchair possesses the same straightforward, contemporary aesthetic as the seating system of the same name. Generous cushions with goose-down padding and piping that underscores their soft, welcoming shape offer delightful visual contrast to the light metal structure. The cushions are creased with a unique lengthwise stitching detail that produces a slight wrinkle in the surface of the upholstery – which can be crafted in fabric or leather. In addition to following the natural fold created upon sitting, the stitching lends Adda a distinctive look.
